Airline Change Fees and Policies: Travel Updates from A-Z
Since the COVID-19 pandemic sent the world into a tailspin last March, airline change fees and policies have grown more flexible. Customers can purchase flights with the option to change their travel dates without penalty, either due to health reasons or simply because they don't feel it's safe enough yet. Some airlines offer the chance to make changes to a flight without paying the difference in fares; others have even made room for full refunds.
The panorama changes on a near-daily basis, so keep that in mind when planning future trips, especially in the short term. Travel during COVID-19 presents a unique set of challenges, but it's possible! Remember to prioritize safety and responsibility above all.
Always double check with the airline before confirming a flight purchase, and review the change fees and policies in detail. Note that said change fees and policies could change at any time.
